Building an EPS home begins in the factory, where polystyrene beads are expanded, matured and molded into dense, uniform panels. Each panel core is sandwiched between galvanized steel wire meshes, joined by diagonal steel connectors for structural integrity. On site, a conventional foundation is cast with starter bars protruding to anchor the panels.
The lightweight panels are then erected, aligned and braced — often by a small crew in just days. Electrical conduits and plumbing are routed through channels melted or cut into the panel core.
Extra mesh reinforces corners, joints and openings. Finally, both faces are sprayed with structural micro-concrete, transforming the assembly into a solid, insulated, monolithic wall. After curing and finishing, the result is a durable, energy-efficient home — completed in a fraction of the time of conventional construction.
